The Prince William Extension Office will sponsor a free education program, “Dandelions, Clover, Wild Strawberries & More” at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Community Room, Bull Run Library, 8051 Ashton Ave., Manassas.

The Prince William Golf Course will be having the Prince William Club Championship on Saturday and Sunday. It will be a 36-hole, stroke play event and the entry fee includes greens and cart fees, range balls, prizes and a buffet-style lunch on Sunday. Looking for an enjoyable evening of music with a worthwhile purpose? The Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra will perform a benefit concert Saturday to celebrate the work of Good Shepherd Housing Foundation in the Prince William region.

Local author Gretchen Laskas (“The Midwife’s Tale”) will lead a workshop on the craft and business of writing at the Potomac Community Library.
