Stonewall grad Causey named goalkeeper coach of WUSA’s Breakers

Stonewall Jackson High School graduate Jeff Causey has been named the goalkeeper coach for the Boston Breakers of the WUSA. Causey, 31, served as an assistant coach last fall for the University of Marylands mens soccer team that went 20-5 and reached the national semifinals.

Causey was a goalie in MLS for six seasons, starting with D.C. United in 1996 and finishing up with the New England Revolution (1997-2001). In college, Causey starred at the University of Virginia, playing on three national championship teams and earning all-American honors his senior season.
