16-year-old boy attacked, robbed in Woodbridge
A 16-year-old boy was attacked and robbed in the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn, Prince William police spokeswoman.
The boy told police he was walking in the area when a black man in blue jeans and a white shirt walked up to him, punched him in the stomach and took his money, Chinn said.
The victim told police the man who robbed him was 5 feet 9 inches tall and 17 to 20 years old with a light complexion and corn rows in his hair. He weighed 130 pounds and wore blue jeans and a white shirt, Chinn said.
Truck driver robbed of cash at gunpoint
A 32-year-old tow truck driver was robbed at gunpoint Thursday at 12:05 p.m. at the intersection of Spriggs and Token Valley roads, where he was parked to consult a map, said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn, Prince William police spokeswoman.
The victim told police that a black man approached the parked tow truck, opened the door, pointed a black semi-automatic pistol at him and demanded money. The tow truck driver complied, Chinn said.
The man with the gun wore black jeans and a black shirt. He was 30 to 40 years old, 6 feet tall and weighed 180 pounds. He was last seen walking toward Hoadly Road, Chinn said.
Man answers door naked, insults delivery woman
Police arrested a 50-year-old Bristow man after he came to his door naked, walked outside and insulted a delivery woman at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn, Prince William police spokeswoman. The woman was there to deliver a package, Chinn said
The woman left the man’s house at 10106 Piper Lane and called police, Chinn said.
Police charged Wayne Ossie Neal with indecent exposure and assault, Chinn said.
Bond and court dates were not available, Chinn said.
Police arrest man at street’s dead end for marijuana
A police officer on patrol noticed a suspicious car parked at the dead end of Charlton Court, investigated, smelled marijuana and saw a man in the car trying to hide a pipe, said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn Prince William police spokeswoman.
Police held Joseph Lee Doyle, 22, in jail until he was sober, Chinn said.
Doyle, of 4678 Whitaker Place, in Woodbridge is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 1, Chinn said.
Police charge Nokesville man with possession of marijuana
Police arrested a Nokesville man for possession of marijuana after they found him and four others crouched behind a car parked at the dead end of Eliss Court in Lake Ridge at 1:31 a.m. Thursday, said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn, Prince William police spokeswoman.
A nearby resident called police about the parked car, Chinn said.
Police charged David William Stoah, 19, of 8624 Arbee court with possession of marijuana. He was released in lieu of a $1,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court Sep. 28, Chinn said.
Traffic stop leads to man’s arrest, possession charge
Police arrested a 19-year-old Fort Washington, Md., man in Dale City after finding cocaine under his car seat during a traffic stop, said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn, Prince William police spokeswoman.
Police stopped Christopher James Williams on suspicion of driving under the influence at 12:41 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Gideon Drive and Dale Boulevard, Chinn said.
Williams was held in lieu of a $2,500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 7, Chinn said.

?Luggage and the contents were stolen from a car parked in the 2800 block of the Prince William Parkway, between 3 and 3:15 p.m. while the victims were inside a business buying food. The window of the vehicle was broken during the burglary.
?Tools worth $250 were stolen from the bed of a pick up truck parked in the 3400 block of Beaumont Road in Dale City between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday.
?Tools, worth $950 were stolen from a van parked in the 3400 block of Beaumont Road in Dale City between 5 and 8 p.m. Wednesday.
?A home in the 4700 block of Hawfinch Court in Dale City was burglarized and $513 was stolen between 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.
There was no sign of forced entry.
?A 1992 Isuzu Rodeo, worth $3,500, was stolen from a home in the 13400 block of Green Acre Drive, in Woodbridge, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday.
? An unlocked yellow, 49 cubic centimeter super bike, a mini motorcycle worth $49.95, was stolen from the 9400 block of Lomond Drive, in the Sudley area, between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Thursday.
The super bike had a letter “R” sticker and no seat.
?A wallet and its contents, worth $450, was stolen from an unattended purse at the Long and Foster Real Estate office at 4421 Dale Blvd. between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. Wednesday.
?Tools were stolen from a van parked in the 14500 block of Watson Lane, in Dale City, between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 6:15 a.m. Thursday.
?Tools worth $669 were stolen from a pick up truck parked in the 14300 block of Westminister Lane, in Dale City between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
?A 2004 Honda CRF 450 motorcycle, worth $6,000, was stolen from the 3900 block of Cressida Place, in Lake Ridge, between 12:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Thursday.
?Power tools, worth $510 were stolen from a van parked in the Home Depot parking lot at 14000 Foulger Square in Woodbridge between 2:05 and 2:15 p.m. Thursday.
?A red Greeley moped, worth $750, was stolen from under a porch in the 13600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge between 6 p.m. Monday and 6 p.m. Tuesday.
?Tools, worth $1,550, were stolen from a truck’s unlocked storage bins, between 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday while the truck was parked in the 3300 block of Benbow Court in Dale City.
?Two cars, parked in the 15400 block of Chickadee Court in Dale City, were burglarized between 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and 5:25 a.m. Wednesday. One of the cars was locked, but there was no sign of forced entry. The other was unlocked. Change, a wallet, cassette tapes, stereo equipment jewelry and keys worth $2,868, were stolen.
?A woman drove away from Andrew Leitch Park on Dale Blvd. at 8:30 p.m. Monday and left a sports bag in the parking lot. The bag was there when she returned at 8:40 p.m., but two baseball gloves and a bat worth $580 were missing.
?A Washington Post newspaper vending machine worth $523 was stolen from Vineyard Way and Occoquan Road, in Woodbridge, between 9 a.m. Monday and 4 a.m. Tuesday.
?A laptop, worth $600, was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 10400 block of Lake Jackson Drive, in the Lake Jackson area, between 3 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Wednesday.
?A 2003, red-and-black Honda Metropolitan scooter, worth $2,000, was stolen from the 9600 block of Sudley Manor Drive, in the Sudley area, at 3 p.m. Wednesday. The victim left the key in the scooter, went inside a house for a few minutes and returned to find the scooter gone.
?A basement window pane was removed from a home in the 12500 block of Colgate Court, in Woodbridge, between 6:45 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Thursday. Camera equipment, silverware and jewelry, worth $3,910, were stolen.
?Burglars threw a brick through the window of the Golden Beauty Supply store at 11756 Sudley Manor Drive, in the Sudley area, between 5 p.m. July 24 and 8:33 a.m. Monday. Wigs, a cash register with money, purses and a hat, worth $7,220, were stolen.
