The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office was expected to release new information today in the murder case of Lisa Madaris.
In the late afternoon, though, the Sheriff’s Office decided not to go forward with the planned release.
The story will be updated as new information becomes available.

 

Madaris was found murdered Sunday morning in Stafford County, a department official said.

 

The official declined to elaborate, just saying “important information in this case is going to be released.”

 

Madaris, a 35-year-old Woodbridge woman, was last seen April 6 at a Lake Ridge sports bar.
