Prince William County police are searching for a 44-year-old Haymarket man who disappeared Tuesday afternoon.

Robert Paul Stephenson, of the 14300 block of Legend Glenn Court just east of Haymarket was last seen between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., family members told police.

Family members also said that this type of behavior is unusual and they are worried for his safety, said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn, department spokeswoman.

Stephenson is a white man who is 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighs 190 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a Buffalo Bills sweatshirt.

Police said he has been put on their missing and endangered list.
