Dale City man charged with intent to distribute
A Dale City man was found with suspected Ecstasy and marijuana during a traffic stop Wednesday morning in Dale City, Prince William County police said.
Micon Alexander Jones, 26, of 13207 Delaney Road was charged with possession with intent to distribute Ecstasy and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, said Detective Dennis Mangan, police spokesman.
Jones was stopped in a 1995 Cadillac at the intersection of Dale Boulevard and Arnsworth Drive around 12:10 a.m. The officer smelled marijuana and upon a search found the suspected Ecstasy and marijuana, police said.
Jones is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond.
Woodbridge man charged with marijuana possession
A Woodbridge man was found with suspected marijuana while driving with a suspended license Wednesday night in Woodbridge, police said.
Phillip Allen Davis, 21, of 2001 Southampton St. was released on a summons for possession of marijuana.
He was driving in the 2200 block of Montgomery Avenue around 10:30 p.m. An officer found suspected marijuana in the car.
Prince William County police reported the following incidents:
• Cabinets valued at $749 were stolen from a home under construction in the 9500 block of Mark Twain Court southeast of Gainesville between 3 p.m. Feb. 25 and 7 a.m. Monday.
• A pocket bike valued at $549 was stolen from Exotic Motor Carriages at 8016 Centreville Road near Manassas between 7 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday.
• A refrigerator was stolen from a home under construction in the 15600 block of Alderbrook Drive in the Regency at Dominion Valley subdivision north of Haymarket between 5 p.m. Feb. 22 and 7 a.m. Feb. 23.
