Manassas Journal Messenger | Manassas man sentenced to jail for sexually abusing teens
A Manassas man was sentenced Thursday to three months in jail for sexually abusing two teens. Earlier this week, the father of one of the victims sued Donnie Lee Feltner for $300,000 for the abuse.
Feltner, of 12796 Forest Oak Court, pleaded guilty in November to two counts of sodomy.
According to Daniel Williams’ lawsuit, his son stayed at Feltner’s house the night of June 5, 2004. The victim’s friend also joined them, according to a criminal complaint filed with Prince William Circuit Court. The boys mowed Feltner’s law and he paid them in cigarettes, according to the criminal complaint.
Later, Feltner showed the boys pornographic movies in his bedroom before abusing both boys, according to the criminal complaint and the lawsuit. Williams’ son also stayed with Feltner on June 12, 2004, according to the lawsuit. Again, Feltner showed the boy a pornographic movie and abused him, according to the lawsuit. The boy repeatedly told him not to, according to Williams’ lawsuit.
As a result, Williams claims his then 14-year-old son suffered “permanent emotional and psychological injury.”
Prince William Circuit Court Judge Richard B. Potter sentenced Feltner to five years in prison for one of the sodomy charges. Potter suspended four years and nine months of the sentence, leaving Feltner with three months to serve, contingent upon a four-year probation period. During that time, Feltner can have no unapproved contact with minors. On the second sodomy charge, Potter sentenced Feltner to five years in prison, but suspended the sentence, conditioned on a four-year probation. Additional conditions of the probation included sex offender treatment and random polygraph screenings.
Williams’ lawsuit charges Feltner with intentional infliction of emotional distress. A court date has yet to be set in the civil case.
