Manassas Journal Messenger | Four sentenced in prostitution bust

Two men charged with soliciting prostitution after police raided a suspected house of prostitution in Woodbridge pleaded guilty Wednesday.

Julio Lopez-Gonzales and Jose Walter Serrano-Caicas were each sentenced to time served in jail. Serrano-Caicas, 32, of 14609 Eastman St., Woodbridge, was also fined $50. Lopez-Gonzales, 23, of 1506 Cecilia Court, Woodbridge, received a suspended $50 fine.

Julietta Cabrera-Castro, 28, pleaded guilty to prostitution. As part of a plea agreement, Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Elizabeth Millette dropped a second charge of receiving money from prostitution. Millette recommended a suspended $100 fine, saying she believed Cabrera-Castro, of Queens, N.Y., is about to be deported.

Wilnelly Esmil Asencio, 23, of Philadelphia, also pleaded guilty to prostitution. As part of a plea agreement, a felony charge of receiving money from prostitution was dropped. Ascencio’s attorney, Nancy Croteau, said there are immigration detainers against her client.

All four were charged after the Devil’s Reach Condominium Association contacted county police. Landscapers notified the condo association they had been approached by women from a town house at 1702 Devils Lane, offering sex.

A patrol officer was dispatched Oct. 16 when a resident complained about several vehicles visiting the town house. As one officer knocked on the front door, three men tried to run out the back door, according to an affidavit for a search warrant filed with Prince William Circuit Court.

Officers detained them and six other people inside the house, Special Investigation Unit Detective John T. Mora wrote in the affidavit. One of the men detained in the house told Mora “men come here to have sex with women,” Mora wrote in his affidavit. The man told Mora that Jose Saul Allegria met women at Todos Market and brought them to the town house. During a protective sweep of the house, Officer J. B. Evans did not see any furniture in the bedrooms of the town house, only a mattress on the floor. Next to the mattresses were condoms, K-Y jelly, isopropyl alcohol and paper towels, Mora wrote.

Allegria, 63, of 3312 Baxter St., Triangle, is charged with receiving money from the earnings of prostitution, receiving money for procuring a person soliciting prostitution and keeping a bawdy place. Allegria’s court date was postponed until Jan. 10, 2005.

Elio Benjamin Chicas, 24, of 19002 Red Oak Lane, Triangle, is charged with aiding prostitution. His case was also postponed until Jan. 10.
