Manassas Journal Messenger | Cops blotter for Wednesday, August 6

Prince William police reported the following incidents:

— A Sony PlayStation 2, games, a controller and cash valued at $570 were stolen from a home in the 14400 block of Lee Highway in Gainesville between 1:30 and 6 p.m. A neighbor saw a man sitting in a blue Acura in the driveway. He is described as white, bald and wearing jeans and a white T-shirt.

— Jewelry, a CB radio, 20 compact discs, and a .12 gauge flare gun valued at $7,985 were stolen from a home in the 2900 block of Fox Lair Drive in Woodbridge between 4 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday.

— Compact discs valued at $1,825 were stolen from a 1995 Dodge Neon on Westchester Drive near Lake Jackson between 9 p.m. Thursday and 1:30 a.m. Friday.

— A 16-year-old girl was robbed of her purse at Nissan Pavilion in Gainesville at 1 p.m. Thursday, Prince William police said Tuesday.

The robber is described as a white man with blue jean shorts and a black Ramones T-shirt, according to Detective Dennis Mangan.
