Ronald Liming

Ronald “Ronnie” Ivan Liming, 59, of Triangle, died on Friday, July 5, 2002, at Hospice of Northern Virginia.

He was a lifelong resident of Prince William County and worked at Finn Auto Body as an auto body technician.

Preceded in death by his son, Ronald Liming Jr., he is survived by his wife, Diann Liming of Triangle; daughters, Kim King of South Hill and Tricia Anderson of Lynchburg; stepdaughters, Wyndy Kenny of Manassas, Dawn Abrassart of Stafford and Sue Ann Dietrich of Manassas; stepsons, Wayne Neely of Triangle; sisters, Mildred Gill and Edna Mae Grover, both of Alexandria, and Annie Berrios of Dale City; brothers, Gilbert Liming of Alexandria and Clinton Liming of Freeman; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; close friend Bob Matthews; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call between 2 and 4 p.m. and 6 and 9 p.m. today at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow at Dumfries Cemetery in Dumfries.

Gerardo San Luis Sr.

Gerardo San Luis Sr., 83, of Woodbridge, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at Potomac Hospital.

A resident of Woodbridge for more than 30 years, he coached local soccer for 20 years. He was retired from the U.S. Army after more than 30 years and went on to retire from the postal service, as well. He was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, a 4th degree in the Knights of Columbus Kelly Council 5750, a former POW who survived the Death March of Bataan, a gorilla of the Philippine scouts and a bronze star recipient.

Survivors include his wife, Remedious P. San Luis; five sons, Jerry San Luis Jr., Richard San Luis and Frederick San Luis, all of Woodbridge, Alan San Luis of Georgie, and Michael San Luis of West Virginia; one daughter, Elizabeth McNaulty; two sisters, Marcelina Sunga and Grace San Luis, both of Canada; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd., with a Catholic wake service being held at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 13752 Marys Way, Woodbridge, at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Carr officiating.

Interment will full military honors will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus Kelly Council, 13386 Telegraph Road, Woodbridge, VA 22192, in memory of Gerardo.
