House fire in Triangle displaces 12, injures two

Twelve people were displaced after a fire at 18559 Old Triangle Road in Triangle early Monday, Prince William Fire and Rescue spokesman Hadden Culp said.

The house, valued at $200,000, was destroyed.

One resident suffered smoke inhalation and a firefighter was treated for exhaustion while battling the fire.

Volunteer firefighters from the O.W.L. and Dumfries-Triangle stations responded.

Man burned in accident near Manassas Park

A 21-year-old man suffered first-degree burns to his arms and face after spraying lighter fluid on lit charcoal in a grill outside his house at 9406 Chatham Street near Manassas Park on Saturday afternoon, Prince William Fire and Rescue spokesman Hadden Culp said.

The man was treated and released from Prince William Hospital.

Boat destroyed in Lake Ridge fire

A boat hitched to a trailer caught fire outside 12701 Dulcinea Place in Lake Ridge about 6 a.m. Sunday, Prince William Fire and Rescue spokesman Hadden Culp said.

The fire was accidental and destroyed the boat, valued at $22,000.
