Player to watch: Kenny Clarke, a 6-0 junior swingman. With the graduation of seven seniors last season, Clarke will see his scoring rise. Hobbs called Clarke the most athletic player on the team. Clarke was one of several members of the team involved in the Flames’ intense offseason workouts.

Coach: Jim Fisher (Eighth year, 123-50 career record)

Key losses: F Bryan Williams (26.8 ppg), G/F Dan Rowenhorst, F Glen Schrock

Player to watch: Brian Farria, a 6-1 junior, has impressed head coach Jim Fisher with his rebounding and 3-point shooting abilities. Fisher also raves about Farria’s hustle. The forward was selected one of three team captains, all of whom are juniors. He scored a team-high 27 points in the Eagles’ opening game of the season, and is one of five underclassmen in the starting lineup.

Coach: Paul Roy (Second year, 12-12 career record)

Key losses: G/F Tony Evans, G/F Antoine Cato, G Joe Williams, G/F Ricky Young (transferred to Courtland)

Player to watch: Andrew Thomas, a 5-10 sophomore swingman who plays mostly on the perimeter. But Roy said Thomas can play on the inside as well if he needs to. He is one of only two returning starters.

Other key returners: F Pat Croffie (6-4, jr.); G/F Garrett Keniry (5-10, sr.); G John-Michael McGinley (5-7, soph.); F Jason Pearn (6-2, soph.)

Player to watch: Matt Heischman, a 6-1 senior forward, will lead Seton’s frontcourt, which lost a lot of height — 6-6 Flannery and 6-4 O’Herron and Dubois — to graduation.
