Prince William County police reported three area drug busts Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Two of the arrests were the result of traffic stops and the third was made by an off-duty police officer.
• Police stopped Darren Anthony Johnson, 19, at U.S. 1 and Powell’s Creek Blvd. at 2:12 a.m. Friday and saw marijuana and cocaine in his car.
Johnson, of 2692 McGuffy in Woodbridge, was held in lieu of $3,500 bond and charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana.
• Police charged Anthony Carter, of 4230 La Maurice Loop, near Dumfries, with possession of marijuana after they found the drugs in his car during a stop at Dale Blvd. and Gemini Way on Wednesday at 11:09 p.m.

Carter, 21, was released on a summons to appear in court.
• An off-duty police officer saw a man enter his backyard in the 12700 block of Lockleven Lane in Lake Ridge at 12:10 a.m. Thursday and thought the man might break into his house.
The officer called police, confronted the man and held him until police arrived.
Police found Justin Frederick Bancroft, of 12230 Breckenridge Lane, in Woodbridge, in possession of marijuana.
Bancroft, 18 was released on $1,000 unsecured bond.

Prince William County police reported three recent assaults and robberies in the area.
• An 18-year-old man told police that a muscular, 6-foot, 200-pound, black man approached outside Surtida Mexicana, a restaurant at 13732 Jefferson Davis Highway at 10:05 p.m. Wednesday and took his eye glasses and ran away.
• A 49-year-old man told police that he was at a friend’s house in the 8000 block of Community Drive at 12:30 a.m. Sunday when the man hit him and took his money.
The victim told police that the robber was a 5-foot-3-inch, 145-pound Hispanic man.
• A 26-year-old man was treated and released from Potomac Hospital Monday after a man hit him with a baseball bat and took his money.
The man was riding his bike at the Triangle Plaza when the 27- to 30-year-old Hispanic man,wearing at tan polo shirt, brown cowboy boots and blue jeans attacked him.
The victim told police the 5-foot-7-inch man who beat him had a thin, new-growth mustache.

Woman charged after 2-year-old left in car
Police charged a 24-year-old Woodbridge woman with felony child neglect after she left her 2-year-old son unattended in a car for 28 minutes Tuesday, said Sgt. Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman.
Customers in the parking lot at the Big Lots store at 13969 Jefferson Davis Highway called police between 4 and 4:30 p.m. when they saw the boy in the car, Mangan said.
Vilma Isabel Delcastillo of 16555 Sherwood Place was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond, Mangan said.
Man caught in pawn shop with stolen saxophone
Police arrested at 22-year-old Montclair man Tuesday morning for stealing a boy’s saxophone, said Sgt. Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman.
The 12-year-old student left his saxophone at the school bus stop at Waterway Drive and Alexander Place when he went inside a nearby house to use the bathroom on Tuesday.
When he returned, the saxophone was gone, Mangan said.
The boy and his family contacted area pawn shops and called the police, Mangan said.
Police said they caught Kevin William Fulcher of 16201 Taconic Court later in the day trying to pawn the saxophone.
Police charged Fulcher with grand larceny, Mangan said.
Prince William parents turn children in for thefts
Two Prince William parents turned their children over to police when they found property that didn’t belong to them in their house in the 10500 block of Fairweather Court, Prince William police said.
When the parents found the property they believed was stolen, they confronted their 12- and 16-year-olds.
The children admitted to sneaking out of the house between 1 and 3 a.m. and taking the designer sunglasses, paintball equipment, car keys, a wallet and a stereo faceplate from an unlocked garage and car at a neighboring house on Fairweather Court, police said.
Petitions are pending against the children, police said.
