Potomac News Online | Police investigating possible murder, suicide
A man and a woman were found dead Thursday afternoon inside a house at 10106 Lomond Drive in what police believe was a murder and a suicide, said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn, Prince William police spokeswoman.
Police would not comment on the method of the killing, who was murdered or who committed suicide at the house in the Westgate area, Chinn said
“The investigation is continuing,” Chinn said.
The woman was a school bus driver for Prince William County Public Schools, Chinn said.
When she missed her afternoon shift, Prince William Schools staff members went to check on her at her house near Stonewall Middle School, Chinn said.
The staff members found the man and the woman dead and called police at 3:45 p.m., Chinn said.
Police have not yet identified the victims pending family notification, Chinn said.
