Potomac News Online | Triangle apartment robbed at gunpoint
Four men and a woman broke up a party early Sunday morning in Triangle when they robbed the host at gunpoint, Prince William County police said.
A 20-year-old man was having a get together around 1 a.m. in the 3500 block of Melrose Avenue, said Detective Dennis Mangan, police spokesman.
A man entered the apartment and showed a gun. He then chased the party’s host into a back room and stole cash. Then three other men and a woman came into the apartment as well, police said.
The gunman got into a green four-door Jeep Cherokee and drove off and the other attackers got into a black Lexus with Virginia license plates, police said.
The gunman is described as black, 5 feet six inches tall, in his early 20s and was wearing a blue and black Orioles jacket and a six-point star necklace.
The second attacker is described as black, 6 feet tall, 160 pounds and also in his early 20s. He was wearing a white T-shirt and black jogging pants.
The third attacker is described as black, 6 feet 3 inches tall, 180 pounds. He was wearing all black clothing and a black hat. He is also missing a front tooth.
The fourth attacker, also a black man, is 6 feet 5 inches tall, 180 pounds and in his early 20s. He was wearing gray jogging pants and a blue bandanna.
The woman is described as black and in her early 20s, police said.
