LOCATION: The address is 2400 East Capitol Street in Southeast Washington. The main gate is just east of the junction of East Capitol and 22nd streets, accessible by car and Metro, the D.C. area’s subway. BY CAR: Several roads lead to RFK. Drivers on I-295 North or South can take the East Capitol Street exit, which offers convenient entry and exit from the back parking lots. Northbound cars on I-95 also can stay on I-395 into the District of Columbia, thus avoiding frequent traffic jams approaching the Wilson Bridge. Signs on I-395 direct cars to the Pennsylvania Avenue exit, but several others can be used. From the west, approach the stadium on East Capitol Street or Independence Avenue. BY METRO: Metro’s Blue and Orange lines run from Virginia to the Stadium/Armory station. It’s a two-block walk from the station at 19th Street SE and Independence Avenue to the front gate. Count on paying at least a $1.25 fare. Metro has announced stations will be open late for night games.
