Man attacked and robbed in Lake Ridge parking lot
Three men attacked and robbed a 36-year-old man as he was walking in a Lake Ridge parking lot Monday morning, police said.
The victim was walking in the 12100 block of Chaucer Lane around 9:30 a.m. when three men came up to him, police said.
One of the men punched the victim and the two wrestled. As they did this, a second man went through the victim’s pockets. The third attacker then hit the victim either with an elbow or a closed fist, briefly knocking him unconscious, police said.
When the victim woke, his wallet, money and keys were missing, police said.
The first attacker is described as a black man in his late teens who is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 150 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, tan Timberland boots and had a light mustache.
The second attacker is described as a white man in his late teens or early 20s who is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt and had a pencil-thin goatee.
The third attacker is a black man in his late teens who is 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighs 200 pounds with a muscular build.
Juveniles charged with crimes committed in May
Three juveniles were arrested for an attempted armed robbery and two break-ins from early May, Prince William County police said.
A 14-year-old boy, 14-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy were charged with attempted armed robbery, burglary and grand larceny for two incidents May 7 and another incident that is believed to have happened May 7, said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn, police spokeswoman.
Two of the three allegedly tried to rob a man at the intersection of Emerald Drive and Williamson Boulevard in the Sudley area May 7 at gunpoint, but the victim did not have any money and the attackers ran off, police said.
The three also allegedly burgled two homes in the 7500 block of Aruba Court in the Sudley area, police said.
Police executed search warrants on the three juveniles and based on information from the investigation were able to tie the juveniles to the crimes, police said.

A saw valued at $170 was stolen from a shed in the 11900 block of Brice House Court in Lake Ridge between 8 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
DVDs and jewelry valued at $1,040 were stolen from a home in the 14500 block of Colchester Road in Woodbridge between 7 a.m. and 5:10 p.m. Wednesday.
A digital camera and tools valued at $847 were stolen from an auto body repair shop in the 14200 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge between 4 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Two aerators valued at $650 were stolen from in front of a home in the 9400 block of Brentsville Road in Bristow between 8 p.m. May 24 and 6 a.m. May 25.
A camera valued at $444 was stolen from a locker inside a fire station in the 15200 block of Hollyside Drive in Montclair between 5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Tools valued at $640 were stolen from a car parked in the 5800 block of Fincastle Drive in the Ashland subdivision off Dumfries Road between 8 p.m. May 26 and 7 p.m. Tuesday.
A stereo and compact disc player valued at $203 were stolen from a car parked in the 14200 block of Smoketown Road in Woodbridge between 10 and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Tools valued at $4,105 were stolen from a truck parked in the 11900 block of Brice House Court in Lake Ridge between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
A wallet, change purse and Gameboy valued at $260 were stolen from a car parked in the 11900 block of Oakwood Drive in Lake Ridge between 7:15 p.m. Tuesday and 6:45 a.m. Wednesday.
A toolbox valued at $250 was stolen from a shed in the 18300 block of Chestnut Drive in Triangle between 7 p.m. May 24 and 5 p.m. Wednesday.
A cell phone and cash valued at $382 were stolen from a purse left at the Dale City Recreation Center in the 14300 block of Minnieville Road in Dale City between 3:45 and 7 p.m. Wednesday.
An envelope with $950 in cash was stolen from the counter of Dick’s Sports Goods in the 10800 block of Sudley Manor Drive in the Sudley area between 10 and 11 a.m. May 21. Police are searching for a white man in his 30s who was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and baseball hat.
A chainsaw and power washer valued at $315 were stolen from a shed in the 9400 block of Victoria Street in the Manassas area between noon Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday.
