A 19-year-old Dale City man is on the loose after running away from police following a chase early Thursday morning in Dale City, Prince William County police said.
Allan Robert Queen, of 15021 Concord Drive, is wanted for nine different crimes after pulling away from police during a traffic stop and then running from police, said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn, department spokeswoman.
Queen was pulled over around 5 a.m. at the intersection of Cloverdale Drive and Dale Boulevard, but drove off when the police officer approached him, police said.
Police gave chase and Queen allegedly left his vehicle around the intersection of Benita Fitzgerald Drive and Dale Boulevard after hitting a sewer cap, police said.
Police allegedly found cocaine and marijuana in his car, along with a small BB gun. As of Friday afternoon, Queen was still on the run.
Warrants were obtained charging Queen with felony alluding, reckless driving, two counts of attempts assault and battery on a police officer, carrying a concealed weapon, misdemeanor hit and run, driving on a suspended license, obstruction of justice as well as possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
