Potomac News Online | County reports five separate drug incidents
Prince William County police reported Thursday that five area men were arrested in separate incidents for possession of marijuana between Tuesday and Thursday.
One of those arrested was also charged with intent to distribute marijuana and public intoxication, police said.

• Police received a report of loiterers near Whitaker Place and Savannah Drive in Dale City at 8:49 p.m. Wednesday.
When they arrived police found four men near a playground in the area.
One of the men was sitting on the trunk of the car and stood up as a police officer approached, police said.
The officer said he saw something drop to the ground when the man stood.
The officer searched the ground and found a bag of marijuana.
Alphonza Jarrel Banks, 18, of 14315 North Park Court in Dale City was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and public intoxication, police said.
• Police saw a suspicious vehicle at the dead end of Hunting Cove Place in the Bristow area at 12:57 a.m. Tuesday, and went to investigate and found marijuana and the remains of a Philly Blunt cigar in the car.
Eric Wendall Barbour, 19, of 13533 Wanstead Place in Bristrow was given a June 16 court date.
• Police smelled marijuana during a traffic stop at the intersection of Coverstone Lane and Aaron Drive in the Coverstone area at 10:26 p.m. Tuesday.
Police searched Curtis Lamont Harris, 19, during the stop and found marijuana in his pocket, police said.
Harris, of 7626 Mangione Court in the Sudley area, was released on a summons to appear in court, police said.
• Police stopped a car in the 18600 block of Old Triangle Road at 12:20 a.m. Thursday and found a bag of marijuana in the car.
Robert Thomas Gould, 31, of 4228 Gibson Court in Dale City was released on a summons to appear in court.
• Police received a call about loiterers in a park in the 5800 block of Dolphin Drive in Montclair at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday.
During the investigation police found four teenagers, two boys and two girls, on a footpath in the park and escorted them back to their car where they found loose marijuana on the seat.
Police charged Jason Greene, 20, of 14771 Conway Drive in Dale City, with possession of marijuana.
Police did not give bond or court date information.
