Exxon clerk attacked, robbed by man with gun

A 46-year-old clerk at Stringer’s Exxon at 12850 Gordon Blvd. in Occoquan was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint Saturday at 10:15 p.m., said Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman, Monday.

Mangan said a black male, between 20 and 40 with a thin build entered the store and hit the clerk in the head with a handgun. He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled toward BB&T Mortgage.

Mangan said the man had short hair and was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt.

Woodbridge woman robbed by man with knife

A 54-year-old woman was robbed at knife-point from Thursday at 11:30 p.m. to Friday at 12:10 a.m. in the 19300 block of Belwood Lane in Woodbridge said Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman, Monday.

Mangan said the woman was getting a newspaper in the front of her apartment complex when a black male between 35 and 45, who is 5 feet 8 inches tall approached her with a knife and demanded money. When she said she had none, he led her back to her apartment at knifepoint and stole her VCR.

Mangan said the robber weighed 140 pounds and had a thin build.

$150 in change stolen from Woodbridge home

$150 in quarters and half-dollars were taken from a jar in a house in the 15000 block of Cardin Court in Woodbridge between Thursday at 12 p.m. and Friday at 2:30 a.m., said Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman, Monday.

Teenage girl dragged into house, attacked, police say

A 15-year-old girl was abducted and assaulted by three boys in the 3400 block of Beale Court in Woodbridge Friday at 5:30 p.m., said Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman, Monday.

Mangan said the boys, 16, 15 and 14 approached the girl as she was walking. One allegedly grabbed her and the other two apparently carried her into their home.

Mangan said she was able to get away and call police.

The boys were charged with abduction and conspiracy to commit assault and battery. They are being held in the juvenile detention center.

Virginia law prohibits police from releasing the names of juveniles charged with crimes.

Woodbridge home broken into; nothing taken

A burglar broke into a house in the 1800 block of Irene Court in Woodbridge between Thursday at 8 a.m. and Friday at 6 p.m., said Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman, Monday.

Mangan said screens from two windows were removed from windows that were already partially opened. Nothing was taken.
