Three men showed up at Prince William Hospital on Sunday night suffering from gunshot wounds, but all have given authorities different stories leaving police to guess what really happened, a Prince William County police said.
One of the victims told police they were shot with shotgun pellets around 10 p.m. on Sudley Road near Irongate Way just north of Manassas and less than a mile from the hospital, but he did not elaborate, said Officer John Bogert, police spokesman.
The other two victims have been even less forthcoming with information, including one victim who has said he has no idea what happened, police said.
“In situations like this a lot of times there are drugs or gang activity involved and the victims do not want to get themselves in trouble,” Bogert said.
