Armed man robs hotel on Gordon Boulevard

A man with a gun robbed a Woodbridge hotel Friday afternoon, Prince William County police said.

The man entered the Econo Lodge in the 13300 block of Gordon Boulevard around 3:20 p.m. and showed a gun to the clerk who gave him money, said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn, department spokeswoman.

The man told the clerk to lie down behind the counter and then fled, police said.

Police describe the robber as possibly a Hispanic man in his early 20s who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and was wearing a white surgical mask, yellow hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jeans and a black stocking cap during the robbery, police said.

Two men rob victim on Gemstone Drive

Two men robbed another man as he was walking in a Woodbridge neighborhood early Sunday morning, police said.

A 35-year-old man was walking in the 14400 block of Gemstone Drive around 2:30 a.m. when two men approached him and put something sharp in his side, police said.

The men asked for cash and the victim gave them his wallet. They took the wallet and ran off, police said.

Police describe the first suspect as a black man in his late teens who is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 170 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt, black pants and a green sombrero.

Police describe the second suspect as a black man in his late teens who was wearing all black.

Man chased out of Woodbridge girl’s room

A man entered a 15-year-old girl’s bedroom early Saturday morning in Woodbridge, but the girl’s father scared the man off, police said.

The victim was sleeping in her room in her home in the 2600 block of Cumberland Drive around 12:50 a.m. when the man entered through a window, police said.

The victim’s father saw him go into the room and scared him off. The father also got the man’s coat and cell phone, police said.

Police describe the attacker as a white man in his teens who is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and was wearing a tan jacket.

Woodbridge man charged with grabbing girl

A 28-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested after allegedly grabbing a 10-year-old girl and trying to kiss her, police said.

Roberto Antonio Hernandez, of 1659 Wigglesworth Way, was charged with simple assault, police said.

A 10-year-old girl went over the Hernandez’s house to see a friend around 6 p.m., but the friend was not there, police said. Hernandez allegedly grabbed her and asked if he could kiss her, but the victim ran off, police said.

Armed man robs hotel on Dumfries Road

A man with a gun robbed a hotel off Dumfries Road late Saturday night, police said.

The man entered the Econo Lodge in the 17000 block of Dumfries Road just before 11 p.m. and demanded the clerk give him money, police said.

The clerk complied and the man ran from the scene, police said.

Police describe the robber as a black man between the ages of 20 and 30 who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He had a broken front tooth, and was wearing a black coat and carrying a 7-Eleven bag.

? Tools, a pressure washer and a chainsaw valued at $1,186 were stolen from a home in the 11500 block of Summit Ridge Court near the intersection of Dumfries and Hoadly roads between 9 p.m. April 21 and 8 a.m. Thursday.

? Coins valued at $10 were stolen from a home in the 13900 block of Longwood Manor Court in Woodbridge between 4 a.m. Wednesday and 10 p.m. Saturday.

? A television, stereo, kitchen appliances and furniture valued at $1,400 were stolen from a storage unit in the 14100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge between 3 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Sunday.

? A computer, PlayStation and stereo valued at $1,150 were stolen from a home in the 8100 block of Spruce Street near Manassas between 8:30 and 10:20 a.m. Wednesday.

? A silver 1989 Plymouth Horizon valued at $600 was stolen from in front of a house near the intersection of Embassy Drive and Endsley Turn in Dale City between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

? A 1999 Honda Civic valued at $7,000 was stolen from in front of a home in the 12700 block of Gordon Boulevard between 12:01 and 6 a.m. Friday.

? Three rims and tires valued at $1,325 were stolen from a car parked in the 13900 block of Matthews Drive in Woodbridge between 5 and 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
