AtHome America businesses
The following local residents have recently started their own AtHome America business, a direct seller of home-decorating accents:
They are Tina Bowers of Catharpin; Jennifer Robinson of Haymarket; and Cherie Cebula of Nokesville.
Three new student-run
branches to open today
Fort Belvoir Federal Credit Union will open three new student-run branches today.
The schools are Godwin Middle School, Woodbridge Middle School and Woodbridge High School. With this new agreement, the school division can now boast 17 schools with student-run financial branches in partnership with five different financial institutions.
Small Business Awards
Ceremony to be Nov. 9
The City of Manassas Mayor’s Small Business Awards Ceremony will take place on Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. at the Center for the Arts, 9419 Battle St., Manassas.
James C. Dinegar, president and CEO, Greater Washington Board of Trade, will be the guest speaker.

Giant Food to offer
multiple vaccinations
Giant Food will be offering influenza and pneumonia vaccinations in the pharmacy department of select stores now through Nov. 18.
The cost for each flu vaccination is $25 and pneumonia vaccinations will be available for $40. There is no charge for Medicare beneficiaries with Part B coverage.
