OBITUARY

Lyle LeMasters Sr.

Lyle Russell LeMasters Sr., 61, of Manassas, died Saturday, July 13, 2002, at his residence after a one-year illness with cancer.

He was born March 28, 1941 in Mount Hope, W.Va. He was the son of the late Russell King (Bud) LeMasters and Mary Marie LeMarr.

He was president of LeMasters Heating and Air Conditioning Services, Inc., Manassas. He worked in the heating and air conditioning industry for 40 years.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Christine Critchley.

Survivors include his wife, Betty K. Fox LeMasters; one son, Lyle Russell LeMasters Jr. of Manassas; five sisters, Demma Jean Coulter and her husband Elba of Ronceverte, W.Va., Lucille Bragg of Ansted, W.Va., Mildred Cavendish of Manassas, Grace Flester and her husband Dave of Colonial Beach and Brenda Horrocks of Charleston, W.Va.; two brothers, James Critchley and his wife Norine of Versailles, Ky., and Audie Critchley and his wife Gladys of Corliss, W.Va.

Also surviving are two chosen grandchildren, Alicia Chan and Olivia Chan, both of Gainesville.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, and from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, 350 W. Maple Ave., Fayetteville, W.Va., where services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Russell Coulter officiating.

Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Victor, W.Va., with Mr. LeMasters’ nephews serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Ames Heights Bible Church Building Fund, Lansin, W.Va. 25862, in memory of Lyle Russell LeMasters Sr.
