Two men being sought for seperate crimes

The Prince William police are asking for the public’s help in finding two men who are wanted in connection with separate crimes, said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn, a Prince William police spokeswoman.

Christopher Michael Dyer, 18, whose last known address is 14755 Backwood Trail in Fredericksburg, is wanted for burglary with intent to commit assault, Chinn said.

Dyer and three others allegedly went to a Dale City home in the 14000 block of Lestric Lane at 8:27 p.m. Wednesday looking for someone they thought was there, Chinn said.

The victims in the home, a man and woman, both 18, told police that they initially invited Dyer inside to talk but then asked him to leave, Chinn said.

The man went out on the porch with Dyer and the others, the woman told police.

Dyer allegedly pushed the man back through the door, and the three others — one armed with pepper spray and one armed with a hand gun — entered the house, sprayed the victims with pepper spray, pointed a hand gun at the man and demanded to know the whereabouts of the person they were after, the victims told police.

Dyer and the others left shortly after they assaulted the victims with the pepper spray, Chinn said.

Dyer is a white man who is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. His hair is blond and his eyes are blue, Chinn said.

In a separate incident, Osha Chester Collier, 22, of no fixed address, is wanted for shooting into an occupied dwelling and should be considered armed and dangerous, Chinn said.

At about 6:30 a.m. Dec. 25, 2002, Collier fired several bullets into a Woodbridge home in the 1900 block of Knoll Top Lane, police said.

No one was injured and police believe the incident was part of a domestic dispute, Chinn said.
