Police seek suspects in assault of woman

A 30-year-old woman was assaulted in her home at 11:17 p.m. Thursday in the 15000 block of Cherrydale Drive in Dale City, said 1st. Sgt. Kim Chinn, a Prince William police spokeswoman.

The woman heard a knock on her door and opened it, when a man forced his way in, Chinn said.

He pulled out a gun, put it to her face and then hit her in the head, Chinn said. He then pushed her down and threatened to kill her as she struggled with him, Chinn said.

Two of his friends ran upstairs where the woman heard commotion. The three then ran away, Chinn said. They fled in a dark “Cadillac-type” vehicle.

The first alleged assailant is described as a black male between the ages of 20 and 30, standing 6 feet 1 inch, weighing 190 pounds. He had a medium build and wore a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He had a light complexion and goatee, Chinn said.

The second man is described as a black male between the ages of 20 and 24, standing 6 feet 1 inch, weighing 190 pounds. He wore a dark leather coat and a black hat backwards. He was clean shaven, Chinn said.

The third man is described as a black male between the ages of 18 and 25, standing 5 feet 6 inches with dark hair and a heavy build. He was clean shaven, had a dark complexion and wore a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, Chinn said.

Four charged with drug possession in Woodbridge

Police arrested four people Thursday in connection with a tip they received related to drug trafficking at 2901 Fox Lair Drive, apartment 201 in Woodbridge, said 1st. Sgt. Kim Chinn, a Prince William police spokeswoman.

The person who leases the apartment was not involved in the drug ring, Chinn said. People staying with him were arrested.

Gerard Williams, 20, of no fixed address, was charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana. He was held on a $5,000 bond.

Catherine Barker, of no fixed address and whose age was not known by police Friday, was charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana. She was also charged with assault and battery on a police officer, for biting one of the responding officers, Chinn said. Barker also swallowed drugs, Chinn said. She was subsequently transported to a hospital, treated and released.

Michelle Kline, 20, of 13735 Lynn Street in Woodbridge was also charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana.

Antonye Taylor, 26, of Alexandria, also known as Marcus, was charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana and with three counts of forgery for lying to police about his name, Chinn said. Alexandria police had outstanding arrest warrants for him as well. He is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond, Chinn said.

Man robbed near Dale City 7-Eleven

A man was robbed at gunpoint in the early morning Friday near a 7-Eleven in the 4800 block of Dale Boulevard in Dale City, said 1st. Sgt. Kim Chinn, a Prince William police spokeswoman.

The robber approached the male victim, asked for a cigarette and the victim’s stereo equipment. The victim said no and, upon his answer, the robber put his hand in his pocket and “indicated” he was going to shoot the victim, Chinn said.

The victim then gave him cash and the robber fled.

He is described as a white male between the ages of 18 and 29, standing 5 feet 9 inches, weighing 145 pounds. He had a neat appearance, a light complexion and long, curly hair, Chinn said.

Two purses and contents stolen in Dale City home

Two purses and their contents valued at a total of $148 were stolen from a home in the 4600 block of Charleton Court in Dale City Wednesday between 4 and 6:45 a.m., said 1st. Sgt. Kim Chinn, a Prince William police spokeswoman said.

Attempted abduction report deemed false

A Wednesday report of an attempted abduction made by a 7-year-old girl was erroneous, said 1st. Sgt. Kim Chinn, a Prince William police spokeswoman.

After a day of investigating the case, police determined there had been no attempted abduction, Chinn said. Charges will not be filed because of the girl’s age.

The girl told police that a man in black clothing and a ski mask grabbed her by the arm and was taking over the fort she was playing in. She said she was able to break free and run away.
