Police News for Jan. 14
A 42-year-old man was robbed of his wallet by three men in the 100 block of Paula Street in Woodbridge at 8:20 p.m. Friday, Detective Dennis Mangan, a Prince William police spokesman, said Monday.
Each robber is described as a black male between the ages of 19 and 20. The first robber is 5 feet 10 inches and weighs 170 pounds. The second is 5 feet 6 inches and weighs 150 pounds. The third is described only as being between 19 and 20 years old, Mangan said.
A handgun was used in the robbery.
Woman charged with intent to distribute drugs
A woman was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and mushrooms after she was stopped on Dale Boulevard in Dale City on Friday at an unknown time, Detective Dennis Mangan, a Prince William police spokesman, said Monday.
Mary McCreless, 29, of 15006 Cherry Dale Drive in Dale City, is being held on a $20,000 bond.
Burglar steals $425 from Woodbridge restaurant
Tim’s River Shore restaurant at 1510 Cherry Hill Road in Woodbridge was broken into between 1 and 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Detective Dennis Mangan, a Prince William police spokesman, said Monday.
The burglar gained entry through a window and took $425.
Best Tae Kwon Do Center broken into, nothing taken
America’s Best Tae Kwon Do Center in the 3000 block of Golansky Boulevard in Woodbridge was burglarized between 9 p.m. Thursday and 12 p.m. Friday, Detective Dennis Mangan, a Prince William police spokesman, said Monday.
Although nothing was taken, a lock was broken, totaling $125 worth of damage.
Hair salon burglarized, suffered $150 of damages
Hair Affair in the 3000 block of Golansky Boulevard in Woodbridge was burglarized at 10 p.m. Thursday, Detective Dennis Mangan, a Prince William police spokesman, said Monday.
The burglar(s) took change and the store sustained $150 worth of damage. The back door was pried open to gain entry.
Office supplies stolen from unopened business
An unopened business called Check Into Cash at 15667 River Ridge Boulevard in Woodbridge was broken into between 8 p.m. Jan. 3 and Thursday, Detective Dennis Mangan, a Prince William police spokesman said on Monday.
There was no sign of forced entry. Various office supplies and appliances valued at $827 were stolen.
