Man robbed at gunpoint on Longview Drive

A 32-year-old man was robbed in the 1300 block of Longview Drive in Woodbridgeat 2:10 a.m. Saturday, Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman said on Monday.

The victim was approached by two men as he got out of his car. One of the men pointed a “small gun” at his chest, Mangan said.

The other robber walked around the side of the car, where the man handed over his wallet. A white woman with blond hair was waiting and drove the robbers away in a dark green, two-door vehicle.

The first robber is described as a black man between 20 and 22 years old, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He had a thin build and was wearing a black coat, jeans and a skull cap, Mangan said.

The second robber is a black man between 15 and 18 years old, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing roughly 130 pounds. He had a medium build.

Three assailants beat, rob man near Manassas

A 33-year-old man was beaten and robbed Thursday at 10:15 p.m., in the 7400 block of Willoughby Lane in the Manassas area, Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman said Monday.

The victim was sitting in his car when he was approached by three men. One asked for a cigarette and when the victim handed him two cigarettes the men punched him in the side of his head, opened the car door and pulled him out, Mangan said.

All three men kicked and punched him. They took his wallet and ran away.

The first robber is described as a black man between 20 and 25 years old and approximately 5 feet 8 inches. The second robber is a black man between 20 and 25, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet with a medium build, Mangan said. The third is described only as a black male.

Officer charged with assault in Dale City

Prince William police charged a Defense Protective Service Pentagon law enforcement officer with brandishing and domestic assault and battery following an incident during which a 38-year-old woman was assaulted in the 4600 block of Joanna Court in Dale City at 8 p.m. Saturday, Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman said Monday.

Bobby Ray Bostic, 47, was being held without bond pending his arraignment today.

Police respond to alarm, find nothing taken

Prince William police officers responded to a burglar alarm in the 12700 block of Lockleven Lane in Lake Ridge Friday at 1:33 p.m., Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman said on Monday.

Police found the front door open, but nothing was taken.

Thieves take $160 during break-in at cleaners

Quality Cleaners at 17014 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge was burglarized between Thursday at 6:30 p.m., and Friday at 6:30 a.m., Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman said on Monday.

Someone broke through a large metal grate on the side of the building and took $160.

Stereo equipment, 120 CDs taken from car

A Sony PlayStation, stereo amplifier, sub woofer, power inverter, disc changer and 120 compact discs were stolen from a 1999 Honda Civic in the 7900 block of Ashland Avenue in the Manassas area between Wednesday at 4:15 p.m., and Thursday at 7:30 a.m., Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman said on Monday.

There was no sign of forced entry. The items are valued at $2,500. The car’s alarm cable was cut, Mangan said.

Tire stolen from Honda in Dale City, police report

The driver’s side rear tire was stolen from a 1987 Honda in the 13200 block of Kurtz Road in Dale City between Tuesday at 11:30 p.m., and Wednesday at 5 a.m., Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman said on Monday.

M. Park teen charged with possession of drugs

Manassas Park police charged a 17-year-old city boy with possession of marijuana after he was pulled over for a traffic violation at the intersection of Manassas and Andrew drives on Saturday at 12:52 a.m., police said Monday.

The boy admitted to possessing marijuana, police said. He was released into the custody of his parents.

Virginia law prohibits police from releasing the names of juveniles charged with most crimes.
