Clerk at 7-Eleven charged with harassing woman
Police arrested a Woodbridge 7-Eleven clerk after he inappropriately touched a 25-year-old woman in the convenience store at 13990 Jefferson Davis Highway at 12:18 a.m. Wednesday, said Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman.
Police charged Binod Prasad Devkota, 51, of 1370 Longview Drive, with assault and battery.
The woman told police that Devkota touched her at the counter while she tried to pay for her merchandise and then followed her to her car where he tried to touch her again, Mangan said, Mangan said.
The incident was recorded on the store video, Mangan said.
The woman went home and called police, who then arrested Devkota, Mangan said.
Devkota was released on a $1,500 unsecured bond, Mangan said.
Delivery man robbed at gunpoint in Lake Ridge
Two men with a gun robbed a 51-year-old Papa John’s Pizza delivery man Tuesday at 9:41 p.m. in the 1900 block of Pohick Circle Court in Lake Ridge, said Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman.
The delivery man told police he drove to the address to deliver a pizza, got out of his car and noticed the town house where he was to make his delivery was vacant, Mangan said.
Two men, one armed with a handgun, confronted him as he returned to his car, took his money and ran. The pizza man was not injured, Mangan said.
The victim told police that both men were black, 5 feet tall and wore blue jeans, sweatshirts and bandanas over their faces.
