Bob Gandy of Richmond was “lucky enough [for] a rare sighting” of a mother bear and cub on the Sylvan Pass in Yellowstone National Park. “Who says there’s ‘no good homeland security’?” he wrote. “Ask this small grizzly cub! His mother is always on the watch for the cub’s protection. [It’s] a real thrill to film the great bear in its domain.”
