Wisp Resort in Maryland won’t have to depend on the weather for snowmobile tours this year. Snowmaking on the snowmobile trail will make the tours a seven-day-a-week option during the ski season. The trail also is available to cross-country skiers and snowshoers.


Snowboarders with big aspirations will appreciate the Super Pipe, an Olympic-sized half-pipe.

Non-skiers can take advantage of the new ski carpet at the snow tube park and new programs such as Saturday night bonfires..

Wisp: 32 trails, 700-foot vertical drop, longest trail 5,800 feet, Two terrain parks, snow tubing.

  • Adult lift ticket: $39 midweek; $55 weekend, $59 holidays.

  • Snow tubing: $15 midweek, $20 weekend and holidays. Wisp Card, $69, includes a lift ticket and discounts.
