The Newspaper in Education program at the Richmond Times-Dispatch was established to enable educators to use the newspaper in classrooms to supplement their texts and to provide the most up-to-date materials available for all curricula. It is a part of a worldwide network of newspapers that offer special services to educators.

High school and college journalism students can learn about how to put out a newspaper using journalism education materials produced by staff members at the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
