Manassas Journal Messenger | 13 face drug-related charges

A Manassas-area man was charged with possession of cocaine in one of 13 separate drug-related incidents Prince William County and Dumfries police reported Monday and Tuesday.

• Manuel Geovanni Torres, 24, of 8104 Leland Road, was charged with possession of cocaine during a traffic stop at 11:34 a.m. Sunday on Dumfries Road near the Lake Jackson area.

• Wayne Bernard Bowles, 44, of no fixed address was arrested for DUI and after a search police charged him with possession of cocaine.

Bowles allegedly also kicked an officer in the leg and tried to hide a bag of cocaine, and was also charged with obstruction of justice, assault and battery on a police officer and unreasonable refusal.

• Bryan Keith Hardin, 24, of 16621 Galt Court in Southbridge was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute outside a 7-Eleven convenience store in the 13100 block of Hillendale Drive in Dale City at 8:39 p.m. Saturday.

• Derrick James Hydleburg, of 3511 Briarwood Drive in the Princeton Woods section of Woodbridge was released on a summons to appear in court for possession of marijuana during a party at his home at 7:50 p.m. Saturday.

• Randolph Thomas Bennett, 38, of 1915 Warren Drive in Woodbridge was charged with possession of a controlled substance at 12:19 a.m. Sunday while walking near the intersection of Jefferson Davis Highway and Dawson Beach Road in Woodbridge.

• Daniel Wayne Stone, 52, of Fairfax Station, was charged with possession of marijuana during a DUI arrest at 1:45 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Old Bridge Road and Clipper Drive.

• Stephen James Parry, 45, of Oaksgrove, was charged with possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon and intoxicated in public after police saw him smoking on a porch in the 18100 block of Purvis Drive in Triangle around midnight Thursday.

• Kino Richard King, 29, of 10855 Campaign Court in the Sudley area was released on a summons to appear in court for possession of marijuana near his home at 11:30 p.m. Thursday. Neighbors called police about possible drug dealing in the neighborhood.

• Garrett Daniel Rovelle, 20, of Garrisonburg was released on a summons to appear in court for possession of marijuana at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the 17400 block of Beverly Mill Drive west of Haymarket. Police received calls of trespassing and saw Rovelle in the area and found marijuana on him.

• Marquis Wilson, 24, of 3500 Briarwood Drive was released on a summons to appear in court for possession of marijuana during an encounter with a police officer at 11 p.m. Monday in the 1200 block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge.

• Terrell Antoine Jenkins, 23, of 2633 Pheasant Hunt Road in Woodbridge was released on a summons to appear in court for possession of marijuana after an officer approached his car in Marumsco Acre park in Lake Ridge at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday.

• Larry Wenzell Hall, 29, of 3910 Findley Road in Woodbridge was released on a summons for possession of marijuana during an arrest for an outstanding warrant at his home at 10:30 p.m. Friday.

• Matthew Harding, 20, of 142 Prince William Circle in Dumfries, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana. Harding and another person were walking in the 17600 block of Main Street in Dumfries at 1:45 a.m. Saturday when a Dumfries police officer smelled marijuana.

Upon a search, the officer found marijuana and cocaine on Harding. Harding was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond bending a July court date.
