Manassas Journal Messenger | Police blotter for Sept. 30

Prince William police reported the following incidents:

— A 32-inch television, DVD player, XBox and games valued at $9,320 were stolen from a home in the 3200 block of John Robinson Lane north of Dumfries between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday.

— A PlayStation 2, games, a wedding band and jewelry box valued at $1,530 were stolen from a home in the 19000 block of Fuller Heights Road in Triangle between 11:45 p.m. Sunday and midnight Monday. Neighbors saw two black men in their 20s running from the scene. The first burglar is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall and 190 pounds. The second is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds. He had short, braided hair sticking up.

— Several bonsai trees valued at $5,750 were stolen from the Little Tree Bonsai Nursery at 14990 Farm Creek Drive in Woodbridge between 7 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday.

— Someone broke into a home in the 1900 block of Powell’s Landing Circle in Woodbridge between noon Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday, and got comfortable. The person ate Oreo cookies, drank juice and smoked cigarettes, but did not take anything. Damages were estimated at $550.

— Laptops were stolen and several windows were smashed on cars in the 5500 block of Hopsons Choice Loop, 5700 block of Fincastle Drive and 5500 block of Assateague Place, Prince William police said Monday. The vandalism occurred between 1:30 and 9 a.m. Saturday.
