Police blotter for Thursday, July 31

Prince William police reported the following incidents:

— Jewelry and photographs, worth a total of $350, were stolen from a unlocked home in the 3100 block of Harvard St. in Lake Ridge.

The victim discovered the crime at 1:45 p.m. Saturday.

— A pair of sunglasses, a CD player and various CDs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 8000 block of Stream Walk Lane, in the Sudley area, between 5 p.m. Friday and 11 p.m. Saturday.

— A 1991 Toyota Tercel was parked in front of a home in the 10400 block of Paradise Court, in the Sudley area, was stolen between 5 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday.

— A victim told police that $1,500 in cash was stolen from a car parked in the 12200 block of Chinaberry Ct. in the Lake Jackson area, between 3:45 and 5:15 p.m. Friday.

— A silver D.T. Palera bicycle was stolen from the carport of a home in the 1000 block of Botsford Road, near the Sudley area between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday.

— Jewelry, worth an estimated $2,100, was stolen from an unlocked home in the 2500 block of Lookout Road, in the Evergreen area, between July 7 at 7 a.m. and 7 a.m. Monday.

— There was no sign of forced entry to a home in the 14300 block of Bristow Road, but victims told police a Rolex watch was stolen between July 12 at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday.

— Frozen food, worth an estimated $1,659 was stolen from two Schwann’s trucks parked in the 8000 block of Virginia Meadows Dr., near Bristow, between 11:50 a.m. Friday and Monday at 4 a.m.

Several locks to freezer compartments on the trucks were cut and the locks of a third were damaged.

— A commuter found his Honda on bricks, with the wheels and rims missing, when he returned to his car in the commuter lot in the 2200 block of the Prince William Parkway, Friday at 2:16 p.m.

— Stereo equipment worth $300 was stolen from a car parked in the 12700 block of Dara Drive in Lake Ridge between July 23 at 7 p.m. and 5:25 a.m. on July 24.

The passenger side window was pulled out and the door lock was damaged.

— A chrome gas-powered scooter with a black seat was stolen from the front porch of a home in the 14500 block of Silverdale Drive in Dale City between 12:01 and 5 a.m. on July 24.

The victims told police the scooter was worth an estimated $600.

— A skateboard ramp, worth an estimated $250 was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 3300 block of Fort Lyon Drive, between 11 p.m. on July 24 and 9:30 a.m. Friday.

— Tools, worth an estimated $1,446, were stolen from a van parked in the 2600 block of Morse Lane, in Woodbridge, between 8 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The van’s back window was broken out.

— Numerous CDs, worth $280, were stolen from an unlocked car, parked in the 14600 block of Danville Road in Dale City, between 7 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

— A Lake Ridge woman told police that a beach bag, wallet, cell phone, camera and the contents of her purse, worth a total of $990, were stolen from her unlocked car, between 12:30 p.m. on July 21 and 9:55 a.m. Monday, while the car was parked in her driveway in the 12600 block of Kinston Court, in Woodbridge.

— A 2003 green and white Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen from a closed but unlocked garage in the 13500 block of Woodvale Court in Woodbridge between 9 and 11 p.m. Sunday.

— A Toro 3200 Workman golf cart was stolen from the Old Hickory Golf Club at 4600 Asdee Lane in Woodbridge, between 5:30 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday.
