Manassas Journal Messenger | Police blotter for Tuesday, July 22

Prince William police reported the following incidents:

— A gauge torch valued at $300 was stolen from a cart in the storage area of a building in the 13800 block of Dawson Beach Road in Woodbridge between 1 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Monday.

— A window was broken and a door was smashed at Fred Lynn Middle School, 2400 Longview Drive, in Woodbridge on Monday between 5 p.m. and 9:35 p.m. Nothing was taken from the school.

— A Toshiba Pocket PC valued at $300 was taken from an unlocked car in the 3300 block of Cape May Court in Dumfries between 9 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

— A black 1999 Century utility trailer holding two lawn mowers and other yard tools was stolen from the 14600 block of Featherstone Road in Woodbridge between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The stolen items were valued at $4,000.

— Various tools valued at $1,100 were stolen from a pickup parked in a driveway in the 14300 block of Fullerton Road in Woodbridge between 8 p.m. Friday and 8 p.m. Saturday. There was no sign of forced entry.

— Stereo equipment valued at $17,500 was stolen from a car in the 14700 block of Birchdale Avenue in Dale City between 10 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 a.m. Friday. The driver’s side door appeared to have been opened with tools.

— Stereo equipment was taken from a car parked in the 8700 block of Parkland Street in Manassas between 6 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. Sunday. The car’s windows were open.

— Bolt cutters were used to cut the lock off a safe in the 2800 block of Dale Boulevard in Dale City between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Thursday. Cash totaling $2,100 was taken.

— Compact discs were stolen from a car parked in 13500 block of Minnieville Road in Dale City between July 7 and Friday. The car was there for repairs. The owner found the car’s doors open.

— Stereo equipment and cash were taken from a house in the 3500 block of Ashby Court in Lake Ridge between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday.

— A 40 caliber semi-automatic pistol valued at $1,100 was stolen from Shooters Paradise, in the 14900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 9 p.m. Saturday.

— Stereo equipment, CDs, a television and car parts valued at $18,500 were taken from a car parked in the 13500 block of Cridercrest Place in Woodbridge between 12:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday.
