Traffic congestion got you down?
As Prince William County’s population keeps expanding, the complaints about traffic are getting louder and more frequent. But what can anyone do about it?
Find out what you can do by attending the Prince William County-Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce’s three-part series of informal discussions, “Traffic Talk” which will explore local, regional and statewide transportation issues.
The first session will take place Jan. 10 from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the chamber’s conference room.
It will provide an overview of transportation plans for the region, as well as related topics such as security and air quality.
All discussions will be headed up by Bob Chase, president of the Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance.
Those interested in attending should call Shannon Miller at (703) 368-6600.
The Loy E. Harris Pavilion in Old Town Manassas is now open for ice skating. Through March 28, the pavilion will be open from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

The Prince William Park Authority sponsors a Kids-Night-Out program once a month at the Chinn Aquatic and Fitness Center for children in grades one through five.
From 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., the children can enjoy pizza, crafts, games, popcorn and a Disney movie. The cost is $10 per child and a program is planned for tonight. For details, call (703) 730-1051.
