Potomac News Online | Police report three shooting incidents
There were three shooting incidents in the area Tuesday and Wednesday.
Two of the incidents involved BB guns and one involved arrows stuck in a the front door of a Lake Ridge home, said Prince William County police.
• Police said a man was shot with a BB gun in the 14200 block of Carterwood Drive in the Haymarket area at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The man was doing some road work for an asphalt company when the BB hit his hard hat. He was not injured.
Attempted malicious wounding charges are pending against a 13-year-old boy, who police believe shot the man.
• A Woodbridge man told police he was driving near the intersection of Florida and Maryland avenues at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday when his car window was shattered.
The man believes his window was broken by a BB fired from a BB gun, police said.
The man was not injured. Police are investigating.
• A Lake Ridge woman told police that arrows were shot into her front door between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The woman also told police that she found arrows in her front yard Tuesday, police said.
