Montclair man charged with credit card theft

Mario Williams II, 19, of 15403 Autumn Lane in Montclair was charged with credit card theft in the 15600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge around 8:33 a.m. Thursday, said Officer John Bogert, Prince William police spokesman.

Police were called to a 7-Eleven store in the area for a purchase with a stolen credit card, Bogert said. Police found Williams nearby and charged him.

Williams was held in lieu of a $5,000 bond. No court date was available.

Taxi driver robbed by pair with handgun

A taxi cab driver was robbed near the intersection of Kidwell Drive and Kingsley Road in Dale City after two customers asked him to pull over, got out and pointed a handgun at him around 10:19 p.m. Thursday, said Officer John Bogert, Prince William police spokesman.

The driver handed over an unknown amount of cash and was not injured, Bogert said.

The first robber is described as a black man, between the ages of 20 and 25, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds and wearing a black jacket.

The second robber is described as a black man, between ages 20 and 25, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds and also wearing a black jacket.

Food delivery driver robbed of food, bag

A delivery driver was robbed after getting out of his car to make a food delivery in the 2000 block of Pilgrim Drive in the Lake Ridge area between 10:58 p.m. Thursday and 12:34 a.m. Friday, said Officer John Bogert, Prince William police spokesman.

Two people approached the driver after he got out of his car and grabbed his delivery bag and fled on foot.

Food and a thermal bag valued at around $237 were stolen. The driver was not injured.

The first robber is described as a black man, between ages 16 and 17, 6 feet tall and wearing a thin black hooded jacket.

The second robber was described as a black man, between ages 16 and 17, 5 foot 10 inches tall, 160 pounds and also wearing a thin black hooded jacket.

Man charged in August Woodbridge robberies

David Ervin Jackson, 31, of no fixed address was charged early Friday morning with several robberies and attempted robberies in the 1700 block of Florida Avenue and the 1500 block of Walnut Street in Woodbridge in August, said Officer John Bogert, Prince William police spokesman.

Jackson was charged with one count of burglary, one count of grand larceny, two counts of attempted burglary, three counts of destruction of property and one count of obtaining money by false pretenses.

Some of the stolen property was recovered from local pawn shops.

Jackson has a court date of Dec. 18. No bond information was available.
