Accident disrupts traffic on Sudley, Rolling roads
A seven-car accident stalled traffic at 3:46 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Sudley Road and Rolling Road, Manassas police said.
A 1999 Toyota van attempted to turn left onto Rolling Road when it was hit by a 2000 Dodge van traveling south on Sudley Road.
The Toyota van was forced into five other vehicles on Sudley Road.
Five people were treated for minor injuries.
The combined damage to all vehicles is estimated to be more that $30,000, Manassas police said.
The driver of the Toyota van, Camille Abdullah of 11180 Lady Jane Loop in Manassas, was cited for failing to yield the right-of-way, police said.
Dale City man charged with breaking into home
Marcelino Hernandez, 23, of 4511 Hamilton Drive in Dale City was arrested and charged with unlawful entry after police say he attempted to take items from a truck in the 13300 block of Hillendale Drive in Dale City.
The resident of the house heard someone outside and saw that the suspect had taken items from the back of his truck and was in his back yard, Prince William County police said.
The victim confronted the victim and held him until police arrived.
Stereo stolen from Jeep at Woodbridge restaurant
A Kenwood stereo valued at $550 was stolen from a Jeep Cherokee parked at the rear of the Spotlight Restaurant in the 1360 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge at 10:55 p.m. Thursday.
Witnesses saw a suspect running from the scene. The suspect is described as a white, possibly Hispanic male, 5 feet, 1 inch tall, 140 pounds, wearing a green T-shirt and black pants.
