Items valued $14,750 stolen from Lake Ridge home

A PlayStation game system, jewelry and other items valued at $14,750 were taken from a house in the 11900 block of Cotton Mill Drive in Lake Ridge.

The burglary occurred between 9:30 am and 12:45 p.m. Monday.

The rear sliding glass door of the residence was smashed.

Police ask that anyone with information call Crime Solvers at (703) 670-3700. Callers do not have to give their names or testify in court and may receive a reward of up to $1,000 for information that results in an arrest.

Home under constructionvandalized in Dale City

A burglary occurred at an unoccupied home under construction in the 14200 block of Bremerton Drive in Dale City some time between 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Workers noticed that the back door of the house was kicked open when they arrived Monday.

An exterior wall was spray painted, several windows were broken and a circular saw was taken. The saw is valued at $159.
