Manassas Journal Messenger | Police blotter for Friday, July 18

Prince William police reported the following incidents:

— Compact disc players, CDs and cases valued at $395 were stolen from a home in the 3400 block of Beale Court in Dale City between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. Thursday.

— Someone kicked the door in at an apartment where work was being done in the 18600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 7:15 p.m. Thursday.

— The front door was kicked in and glass broken at a home in the 19300 block of Fuller Heights Road in Triangle between 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and 12:10 a.m. Thursday.

— A monitor, tools, a radio, keys and other items were stolen from a 2001 Ford Explorer in the 10700 block of Battleview Parkway in the Manassas area between an undisclosed time Monday and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The monitor, valued at $25,000, was recovered behind a Better Homes building, police said. Tools were recovered there as well.

— A camera, cellular telephone, charger and cash valued at $365 were stolen from a home in the 3200 block of John Rolfe Court in Woodbridge between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

— Tires and rims from a 1999 Acura, valued at $1,995 were stolen from a home in the 14800 block of Persistence Drive in Woodbridge between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday.

— A Compaq laptop and briefcase valued at $1,450 were stolen from a home in the 7200 block of Williamson Boulevard in the Manassas area between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 6:15 a.m. Tuesday.
