Mark A. Cunningham Sr.

Mark Alan Cunningham Sr., 46, of Manassas, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, at Prince William Hospital, Manassas.

He attended Faith Christian Fellowship Church in Catlett for the past nine years and was the owner of Cunningham Custom Masonry for more than 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Edson Harold Cunningham III.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Jean M. Cunningham; one daughter, Elizabeth Caroline Cunningham; three sons, Mark Alan Cunningham Jr., Matthew Ray Cunningham and Michael Paul Cunningham, all of the home; his parents, Edson Harold Cunningham Jr., and Mildred Cunningham of Myrtle Beach S.C.; and two sisters, Karen Charay of Mt. Dora, Fla., and Leigh Ann Moore of San Francisco.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Christian Fellowship Church, 3005 Dumfries Road (Va. 606), Catlett, Bishop Simon Schrock, Minister David Nisly and Minister Daniel Beachy officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

George W. DeBord

George William DeBord, 66, of Woodbridge, formerly of Manassas, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, at Birmingham Green Nursing Home, Manassas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret DeBord.

He is survived by one son, Ricky DeBord of Manassas; five daughters, Cindy DeBord and Lisa Jackson, both of Woodbridge, Alice Mahoney of Manassas, Cheryl Waddle of Nokesville and Lilian McGuire of Augusta, W.Va.; one sister, Billie Crews of Haymarket; and 11 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Blasius-Baker Funeral Home, 9320 West St., Manassas, where services will be held at 11 a.m., the Rev. Joel Slemp officiating. Burial will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens.

Roedolphus Jenkins

Roedolphus Jenkins, 86, of Manassas, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, at Annaburg Manor, Manassas.

He was born Feb. 9, 1915, in Cosby, Tenn., the son of the late Noah and Lugenie Brown Jenkins. He moved to Manassas in 1952.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Nancy Katherine Green Jenkins, who died in 1965; one son, Robert Jenkins; and one daughter, Dorothy Jenkins.

Survivors include five children, Evelyn Botkin, Maudella Hamilton and Nola Ankers, all of Manassas, Alice Snyder of Nokesville and Bill Jenkins of Madison; one sister, Laura Dillinger of Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. service time Thursday at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, the Rev. Samuel Butler officiating. Interment will be private.

Fred L. Orren

Fred Lee Orren, 79, of Richmond, formerly of Johnson City, Tenn., died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Alice S. Orren; four daughters, Joyce Ann Todd of Dumfries, Patricia Carol Nash of Reva, Peggy Sue Hawkins of Marshall and Sandra Kay Funk of Warrenton; five sons, Roy Lee Orren, Jimmy Orren and Frank Orren, all of Manassas, Albert Orren of Woodbridge and Charles Orren of Mobile, Ala.; two stepdaughters, Fran Cornwell of Catlett and Nancy Crowell of Daytona Beach, Fla.; one stepson, Frank Holyfield of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Helen McNabb; one brother, Doug Orren; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, where a funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Freddie Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle.

Coleman H. Reynolds

Coleman Hale Reynolds, 49, of Manassas, died unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

The son of Edna Brock Reynolds and the late Roy Reynolds, he was born Nov. 15, 1951, in Takoma Park, Md., where he lived until moving to Manassas in 1981.

He was educated with the U.S. Merchant Marines in Kingspoint, N.Y. He was an engineer with the Department of the Navy from 1980 until his death. He was a member of the U.S. Kingspoint Club and the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Deborah S. Reese Reynolds; three daughters, Brooke Amanda Reynolds, Melissa Esther Reynolds and Ashleigh Abigail Reynolds, all of the home; and three brothers, Roy Brock Reynolds of Maryland, Gary Douglas Reynolds of New Market and Randy Craig Reynolds of Silver Spring, Md.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Manassas Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Evelyn W. Ryman

Evelyn Willie Ryman, 90, of Mount Jackson, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at Prince William Hospital in Manassas.

She was employed by Casey Jones in Mount Jackson and worked at Triplett High School’s cafeteria in Mount Jackson. She was a member of the Mount Jackson United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Clem and Elizabeth Pence Clem Campbell; her husband, John Melvin Ryman; a sister, Lucy Douglass; and a brother, William Clem.

She is survived by two daughters, Sue Hensley and her husband, Leon, of Penn Laird and Fay Bowers and her husband, William, of Manassas; two half-sisters, Mary Belle Miller of Richmond and Dorothy Green of Mount Jackson; three grandchildren, Wayne Ryman, Gale Goodwin and Rhonda Bowers; two great-grandsons, Grant and Chad Goodwin; three stepgreat-grandchildren, Steven Hall, Wayne Lee Hall and Gillian Goodwin; and one great-great-grandson, Braeden Goodwin.

The family received friends Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 pm. at the funeral home. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at the Dellinger Funeral Home, 5997 Main St., Mount Jackson, the Rev. John R. Estep and the Rev. Jeffry J. Roberts officiating. Burial will be at the Mount Jackson Cemetery at Mount Jackson.

Mary F. Zahorchak

Mary F. Zahorchak, 78, of Winchester, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at Winchester Medical Center.

She was retired from Woolworth’s Department Store in Rockville, Md., and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Winchester.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony Varlien and Thressa Cetina Varlien; her husband, Michael J. Zahorchak Jr.; and one son, David Zahorchak.

Survivors include one daughter, Carol Michael of Winchester; one son, Dennis Zahorchak of Manassas; one sister, Wilma Swetz of Windber, Pa.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family received friends Sunday at Jones Funeral Home, Winchester. A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, the Rev. Stanley J. Krempa officiating. Burial was held at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Winchester.
