Juanita Corlew Anderson, 92, of Manassas, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at Annaburg Manor, Manassas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anderson.
Survivors include a sister, Vivian Bly of Fairfax; one nephew, Vincent Bly; and four stepsons, Robert Anderson III, Jay Anderson, Bruce Anderson and Stuart Anderson.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to S.E.R.V.E., 10037 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA 20110.
Arrangements are by Price Funeral Home, Manassas.
Anne M. Arends
Anne Merrick Arends, 55, of Centreville, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001, at Fair Oaks Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, William Arends; her father, John L. Merrick; and three brothers, John L. Merrick, Michael L. Merrick and Kenneth L. Merrick.
A memorial service will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lee Funeral Home, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas. Internment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northern Virginia, 9300 Lee Highway, Suite 500, Fairfax, VA 22031-1207.
Claude Ellis
Claude Ellis, 76, of Stafford, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001.
He is survived by his children, Claudia Ann Ellis of Stafford, Claude Ellis Jr., Felicia Ellis, Maxine Ellis and Margaret Hearns, all of Milpitas, Calif., Stella Clark of Dumfries, David Muse of Manassas and William Muse of Vienna; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two aunts, Annie Sims and Gertrude Little, both of Drainesville; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ames Funeral Home, 8914 Quarry Road, Manassas, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., the Rev. Roland Smith officiating. Interment will be at Sons and Daughter Cemetery, Vienna.
