John E. (Ed) Irvine Jr., of Woodbridge died Friday, Nov. 16, 2001, at Hospice of Northern Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Marty Irvine; one daugher, Melissa Louise Irvine of Woodbridge; his father, John E. Irvine Sr. of Mooresville, Ind.; one sister, Cindi I. Wheeler of Lilburn, Ga.; and one brother, David L. Irvine of Stafford.
A memorial service will be held at Potomac Crest Baptist Church, 12743 Inverness Way, Woodbridge, at 11 a.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Potomac Crest Baptist Church Building Fund.

Ora L. Phillips
Deaconess Ora Lee Phillips, 90, of Manassas, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2001, at Prince William Hospital.
She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Calverton and various Christian organizations.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Sherman W. Phillips; and one son, Sherman W. Phillips Jr.
She is survived by her son, John Taylor Phillips of Manassas; two daughters, Georgia E. Phillips and Charlotte P. Walker, both of Manassas; one sister, Airleen Gray of McLean; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cross Roads Baptist Church, at the intersection of Va. 616 and Va. 607 in Calverton, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., the Rev. Leonard Hamlin officiating and the Rev. Earl S. King giving the eulogy. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park in Annandale.
