Police chase armed man
A Woodbridge man ran into a Manassas high school with a gun on Wednesday following a traffic stop, Manassas police said Thursday.
At around 4:30 p.m., Officer Joseph Zarkauskas saw a car traveling on Richmond Avenue bearing an expired safety inspection sticker, police said.
When Zarkauskas pulled over the vehicle, the driver, Lee Macks ODell, of 1230 Easy St., fled. Zarkauskas chased ODell into Osbourn High School, where he found ODell hiding in the boys locker room with a gun.
ODell has been charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors, including possession of a weapon on school property and escaping police custody without force, police said.
ODell is being held without bond pending a Feb. 21 court date.
