Exxon clerk assaulted, robbed by two men

A clerk was assaulted and robbed by two men at the Exxon station at 18625 Jefferson Davis Highway on Monday at 11:05 p.m., Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William Police spokesman, said Tuesday.

The men walked in and complained that the drink machine was not working, Mangan said. When the clerk leaned over to look, he was struck on the head, arm and face with a wooden stick and robbed of cash.

Two white men, one described as between 30 and 35 years old with a heavy build and 5 feet 11 inches tall, fled in a tan, four-door Oldsmobile. The car had Virginia plates, but they were covered by something, Mangan said.

The victim was treated at Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge.

11-year-old boy cuts 14-year-old with knife

An 11-year-old boy is being held in the Prince William County juvenile detention center after he cut a 14-year-old boy with a knife during an argument in the 12400 block of Andover Court in Lake Ridge on Monday, Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William Police spokesman, said Tuesday.

The victim was treated at an Urgent Care facility following the 6:10 p.m. incident, police said.

Virginia law prohibits police from releasing the names of juveniles charged with crimes.

Two men charged with drug, firearms violations

Prince William police charged two men with drug and firearms violations Sunday after officers spotted them sitting in a car beside the Ashdale Shell station in Dale City and smelled what they believed to be marijuana, Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William Police spokesman, said Tuesday.

Officers pulled up to a car at approximately 11:58 p.m., Mangan said. As they spoke to the driver, the passenger, who was holding a hand gun, got out of the car and ran, according to police.

David Christopher Michael, 26, of 202 Buckingham Lane in Stafford was caught and charged with possession of a firearm with a controlled substance, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and obstruction of justice, Mangan said.

The driver, Antonio Carlos Smalls, 26, of 92 Chadwick Drive in Stafford was charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. PCP was also found in the car, Mangan said.

The two men are being held with no bond. Police seized the 1994 Cadillac they were in.

Police unable to provide details in car accident

Prince William County Police on Tuesday still had little information about Monday’s accident that sent one man to the hospital and tied up traffic in western Prince William County at midday on Monday.

An unidentified man was flown to Inova Fairfax Hospital following the one-car accident, said Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William Police spokesman. The man drove into a tree at the intersection of U.S. 15 and Shelter Lane, he said.

Mangan could provide no other details about the accident.

DVDs, Game Cube, stolen from Occoquan home

DVDs and a Nintendo Game Cube with games, valued at $600, were stolen from a home in the 13800 block of Delaney Road in Occoquan Overlook on Thursday between 12 and 8 p.m., Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William Police spokesman, said Tuesday.

There was no sign of forced entry.
