Cement mixer stolen

from site near Manassas

An orange Whiteman cement mixer valued at $2,500 was stolen from a home under construction in the 10700 block of Dabshire Way in the Manassas area between Sunday at 9 a.m., and Monday at 7 a.m., Detective Dennis Mangan, Prince William police spokesman said Wednesday.

The mixer must be pulled on two wheels, Mangan said.

Prince William police reported the following:

A stereo valued at $350 was stolen from a 1996 Mitsubishi parked in the 15600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge between March 11 at 8 p.m., and March 12 at 7:30 a.m.

A Palm Pilot valued at $334 was stolen from a doctor at Potomac Hospital after he put it down in the dictation area March 12 between 8:30 and 11 p.m.

A telephone set, laptop computer, and 20 CDs were stolen from a 1999 Jeep parked in the 8300 block of Highland Street in the Manassas area between March 1 at 5:50 p.m., and March 12 at 6:30 a.m.

A gray and black rototiller valued at $400 was stolen from a back yard in the 15300 block of Gunsmith Terrace in Woodbridge between Monday at 9 p.m., and Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Subwoofers, amplifiers and a Sony CD player were stolen from a 1993 Ford at the intersection of Burr Lane and Ascot Court in Dale City Tuesday between 12:30 and 7:30 a.m.
