Police brief for Sunday, June 9, 2002
A representative of Shannon Auto Sales told police that a 1990 Volkswagen Golf was stolen from the sales lot at 9200 Sudley Road between 9 p.m. Thursday and 1 p.m. Friday, said Dave Lane. Manassas police spokesman.
The red two-door vehicle, which was parked in the front row of cars on display for sale, did not have a license plate and the dealership has the keys to the car, Lane said.
Police ask that anyone with information call Crime Solvers at (703) 330-0330. Callers do not have to give their names or testify in court and may receive a reward of up to $1,000 for information that results in arrest.
