Police Blotter for Feb. 14

Manassas police reported the following crimes:

Burglary:

— Ties, hats, candles and a ceramic bowl valued at $570 were stolen from Martha’s Creations at 9029 Center Street in Manassas during the night between Monday and Tuesday. Burglars broke a window to get in.

Prince William police reported the following crimes:

Indecent exposures, assault:

— A man exposed himself to a 27-year-old woman where she was working in the 1400 block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge Tuesday at 11:50 a.m. Makual Daniel Dut, 23, of no fixed address was charged with indecent exposure.

— A 35-year-old woman saw a man exposing himself when she looked out her office window in the 11100 block of Minnieville Road in Woodbridge Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. He is described as black, between 18 and 35 wearing a gray hat and blue jeans.

— A 32-year-old woman was inappropriately touched by a man in the Worth Avenue Wal-Mart in Woodbridge on Wednesday at 4 p.m. He is white, between 20 and 30, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing blue pants.

Burglaries:

–A television, two VCRs and wine valued at a total of $270 were stolen from the Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 9784 Copeland Drive in the Manassas area between Monday at 8 p.m. and Tuesday at 7:15 a.m. There was no sign of forced entry.

— Someone used their body to bust through a door, splintering the frame, and causing $500 worth of damage to a home in the 15400 block of Thoroughfare Road near Haymarket between Feb. 7 at 12:45 p.m. and Monday at 7:14 a.m.

— A neighbor saw a man running from a burglarized home in the 4700 block of Still Place in Dale City on Wednesday at 1 a.m.

— DVDs and a checkbook were stolen after a burglar smashed a sliding glass door at a home on Worchester Drive in Dale City between Feb. 1 at 9 p.m. and Wednesday at 10 a.m. Damage and cost of the missing items is $600.

— A Sony PlayStation and two games valued at a total of $300 were stolen from a home on Filarete Street in Dale City on Monday between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

— A DVD player, watch, 20 Sony PlayStation and PlayStation 2 games, knives, hand tools and pocket watches valued at a total of $3,385 were stolen from a home in the 14400 block of Benton Street in Woodbridge on Wednesday between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

— Seventy-five DVDs, a laptop computer, Sony PlayStation 2, DVD player and jewelry valued at a total of $3,080 were stolen from a home on Greenacre Drive in Woodbridge on Wednesday between 7:45 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.

The burglars pushed in a broken out window that was taped up. A witness saw a black man between 20 and 25, about 6 feet tall, weighing 160 pounds with a thin build. He had a poofy pony tail and wore a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants with a green stripe on the side.

Car break-ins, thefts:

— Four tires, wheels, license plates and both bumpers valued at $3,000 were stolen from a 1990 Honda parked in the 13700 block of Mahoney Drive in Dale City between Jan. 18 at 8 a.m., and Jan. 31 at 4 p.m.

— A stereo and one CD valued at $294 were stolen from a 1996 Honda parked in the 15600 block of Piedmont Place in Dale City between Feb. 5 at 7 p.m., and Feb. 6 at 3 p.m.

— An amplifier, sub woofers, speakers and a power cap valued at $1,190 were stolen from a 2000 Ford parked in the 13800 block of Pandora Drive between Tuesday at 3 a.m., and Wednesday at 3 p.m. There was no sign of forced entry.
